Organics Brasil at Biofach America2008-10-15
Nine Brazilian organics businesses are exhibiting at Biofach America, in Boston (USA), starting tomorrow (16th) and closing on the 18th. They are showcasing their products in the Organics Brasil exhibition booth, a trademark that commercializes Brazilian organics in partnership with the Development Promotion Institute (IPD), the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná (FIEP), and the Brazilian Exports Promotion Agency (APEX Brasil). The goal is to foster the trade of Brazilian organic products in foreign markets.
Seen as an entryway into the American market, last year the trade show was visited by 24 thousand people, from 70 countries. The Organic Brasil member companies that participated in 2007’s trade show sold US$4 million. Isabela Gloger, Organics Brasil coordinator, accompanied the exhibiting companies to Boston and comments that the goal is to repeat the previous results, to maintain the good image in the North American market, and to conquer new spaces by placing final products at sale points.
