This is a clear sign of maturity and development in the internalization process of Brazilian companies, deemed of high important to scale up the industry. The trade show is not just another venue to close deals, but also a way of nurturing the process of business internationalization of Brazilian companies in the world market. “We noticed that this process stimulates the industry, develops the market, contributes to competitiveness, and follows the most recent foreign and domestic market trends”, emphasizes the executive coordinator of Organics Brasil Project, Ming Liu. According to him, “the world market stepped up this past year with the strengthening of large retail chains in the US and Europe, where the number of products with a brand went up.  “On one hand, it brings lower prices to the consumer; on the other, the challenge continues to be how to balance the commercial interests of large chains with the sustainability philosophy and concept prevailing in the industry”, maintained Liu. The Agua Boa Project, which participated in Biofach for the first time, exemplifies a structured action and the start of the internationalization and market positioning process of the more than 1,200 families that participate in the project in the State of Paraná. SEBRAE also participated with a delegation of 20 small businesses.
