The seal is only for organics produced in units accredited by the Ministry. A normative instruction on this matter was published in the Official Gazette, today (6). Organics produced by family-scale agriculture will be exempt from certification and sold directly to consumers, provided the growers are connected to some kind of social control organization (SCO) The certification seal guarantees that consumers are taking home uncontaminated products.
