Approximately 100 people, including economists, students and employees of the Fiep System got together last Friday (23) at the Cietep Convention Center for a workshop to define plans and incentive and mobilization strategies for all sectors of society in preparation to the First Conference of the Corporate Political Participation Network. All the trainees of the Fiep System also participated in the event.

The network’s conference will be held on November 30 and December 1 and will convene hundreds of representatives of the social, academia, political and business sectors. The preparatory meeting for the International Conference of Innovative Cities to be held in March 2010 was one of the subjects discussed during the meeting, since the network’s conference will be an opportunity to define action plans so critical for the development of Innovative Cities.

The workshop counted on the presence of IPD’s Executive Director, Carlos Alberto Gloger. IPD operates in partnership with the Fiep System in the work developed by the Innovative Cities Network.
