System helps municipalities with strategic development

The Sustainability Indicators Observatory (ORBIS) organizes and monitors indicators systems, carries out analyses, and disseminates information on sustainability and quality of life. ORBIS is an initiative of the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná System (FIEP System), of the Social Service of the Industry (SESI-PR), and the Development Promotion Institute (IPD). Indicators are monitored through DevInfo, a software system developed by the United Nations that provides easy and quick access to essential information on local development, public policies, and social projects. DevInfo contributes tables, graphs, and maps that make it easy to visualize data and illustrate presentations and reports. It organizes data by indicator, period of time, geographic region, and sources, in addition to generating reports and animated presentations, very useful in presentations and analyses. The software can be accessed free of charge at ODM´s Portal (http://www.portalodm.com.br).
